DENPASAR — Columbia Sportswear has officially opened its first street-level store in Indonesia, located in Denpasar, Bali, in February 2026. The new outlet also marks Columbia’s second store in Bali, representing a strategic move by the global outdoor brand to expand its reach and connect more closely with the outdoor enthusiast community.
Alit Udayana, Marketing Manager, along with Helmi Mugni, Brand Manager of Columbia Sportswear Indonesia, explained during a media gathering at the new store on Sunday (February 8, 2026), that unlike conventional mall-based outlets, the street-level concept is designed to be more open, casual, and easily accessible to the public.

The concept aims to support active lifestyles, particularly for those engaged in outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, trail running, and other nature-based pursuits. The first street-level Columbia store in Indonesia is located on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Denpasar.
The opening also underscores Bali’s importance as a key market for Columbia. The island’s strong outdoor culture and active lifestyle community align closely with the brand’s identity as a provider of high-performance outdoor gear.
With the launch of the Denpasar street-level store, Columbia now operates a total of 15 retail outlets across Indonesia, located in major cities nationwide. Beyond functioning as a retail space, the store is expected to serve as a community hub for outdoor enthusiasts, hosting activities such as community hikes, fun trail runs, group workouts, product wear tests, as well as social and environmental initiatives.
Through the establishment of this new outlet, Columbia reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the growth of Indonesia’s outdoor community while delivering a more authentic and accessible brand experience for consumers.
