BALI – In celebration of Eid al-Adha 1447 H, observed on May 27, 2026, Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel distributed qurban animals to several mosques, prayer houses, and Islamic institutions in Bali and Lombok as part of its ongoing social responsibility commitment.
The initiative was carried out in collaboration with Artha Graha Peduli, which assisted in the distribution process to ensure the donations reached communities in need.
This year, Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel donated a total of two cows and three goats. The qurban animals were distributed to several locations, including one cow to Islamic Boarding School Qamarul Huda in Lombok, one cow to Al-Amin Mosque in Bali, and three goats to Nurhasanah Mosque, Minhajul Athfal Prayer House, and Al Muhajirin Prayer House in Bali.
The qurban distribution is part of the hotel’s Corporate Social Safety Responsibility (CSSR) program, which is regularly organized to strengthen relationships with local communities while promoting the values of compassion, solidarity, and togetherness.
General Manager of Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, Luis Daniel Garcia, said Eid al-Adha serves as a meaningful moment to share blessings and reinforce harmonious ties with surrounding communities.
