An Unyielding Business Instinct

THE entrepreneurial spirit has always flowed naturally in Jimmi Saputra’s veins. Shaped by a strict upbringing and self-reliance from a young age, he grew into someone unafraid to take bold steps — including his first venture into the world of business. One of the earliest milestones in his journey came when he recognized a promising opportunity in the transportation sector.

“I saw that the transportation business had great potential at the time,” Jimmi recalls. “So I told my father, ‘If we buy a car and turn it into a business, it could be profitable.’ But he didn’t agree. He never had an entrepreneurial mindset.”

Unlike his father, however, Jimmi’s mother possessed a keen eye for opportunity. Quietly, she decided to support her son’s ambition. “Without my father knowing, my mother bought a car as our initial investment,” he says with a smile. “We started the business in secret.”

The venture turned out to be successful. And when his father eventually found out, his reaction was no longer anger — but acceptance.

From that moment on, Jimmi’s entrepreneurial instincts only grew sharper. He never stopped exploring new opportunities, reading market needs, and embracing calculated risks.

“For me, business isn’t just about making money,” he emphasizes. “It’s about having the courage to take that first step. Because if you never start, you’ll never know how far you can go.”

Jimmi’s story is proof that a true entrepreneur’s fire never fades — it only grows stronger with every challenge, every risk, and every act of courage to begin again. **
