OJK Strengthens Collaboration with Stakeholders to Support Bali’s Economic Growth

DENPASAROtoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening collaboration with all stakeholders to support sustainable economic growth in Bali.

The statement was delivered by OJK Deputy Chairman Hernawan Bekti Sasongko during the inauguration of the Head of OJK Bali Office, Parjiman, in Denpasar on Tuesday (April 14, 2026). Parjiman officially replaces Kristrianti Puji Rahayu.

In his remarks, Hernawan emphasized that the success of OJK’s duties and functions at the regional level depends heavily on the professionalism and integrity of its leaders and personnel.

“Regional OJK leaders must be able to establish strong communication, coordination, and cooperation with all stakeholders in their respective areas,” he said.

He added that strong synergy between OJK and stakeholders would enhance the financial sector’s contribution to regional economic growth and promote more equitable public welfare.

According to Hernawan, the expansion of OJK’s authority under national financial sector reforms requires capable, reliable, and collaborative regional leadership that can meet increasing stakeholder expectations.

“Leadership rotation is a strategic step to ensure organizational continuity, strengthen OJK’s regional role, and maintain a stable, inclusive, and resilient financial sector in supporting both regional and national economic growth,” he noted.

Meanwhile, Bali Governor Wayan Koster expressed his support for strengthening OJK’s role in the region. He highlighted the strong synergy between the Bali Provincial Government, OJK, and Bank Indonesia.

“This harmonious relationship greatly facilitates the planning and implementation of regional development programs that require support from the financial services industry,” Koster said.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by several key figures, including OJK Deputy Commissioner for Information Systems and Regional Affairs Bambang Mukti Riyadi, members of the Regional Representative Council (DPD RI) I Komang Merta Jiwa and Arya Wedakarna, representatives of the Bali Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda), and Badung Regent I Wayan Adi Arnawa.

Also in attendance were leaders of financial industry associations, financial service providers, and representatives from universities across Bali.

With strengthened leadership and cross-sector collaboration, OJK remains optimistic that Bali’s financial services sector will play a greater role in driving inclusive and sustainable regional economic growth.***
