BADUNG – Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, in coordination with the Badung Police, has officially deported four foreign nationals linked to the Bonnie Blue management group for violating traffic regulations and misusing their stay permits while in Bali.

Badung Police Chief AKBP M. Arif Batubara stated that the enforcement action stemmed from public concern regarding the presence of TEB, also known as Bonnie Blue (female, 26, British national), who is known as an adult content creator. Reports indicated that she was previously denied accommodation at a hotel in the Canggu area due to concerns over her digital content history.

Following the report, a joint team from the Badung Police and local police units conducted an investigation at a studio in the Pererenan area, Badung, on Thursday, 4 December 2025. During the operation, officers secured 20 foreign nationals. Sixteen individuals were treated as witnesses participating in a gameshow, while four individuals were subjected to further legal processing: TEB alias BB (British national), LAJ (male, 27, British national), INL (male, 24, British national), and JJT (male, 28, Australian national).

Regarding allegations of pornography, AKBP M. Arif Batubara emphasized that digital forensic examinations confirmed the presence of private videos on TEB’s mobile phone. However, the content was intended for personal use only and was not distributed, therefore failing to meet the elements of a criminal offense under Indonesia’s Pornography Law or the Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) Law.

Nevertheless, authorities found that the four foreign nationals had violated public order regulations. They were found using a blue open-bed pickup truck bearing the words “BONNIE BLUE’s BANGBUS” to travel around Bali as part of content production activities. The use of such a vehicle to transport people was deemed inappropriate, unsafe, and contrary to traffic regulations.

Based on the ruling of a minor offense (Tipiring) hearing at the Denpasar District Court on Friday, 12 December 2025, TEB and LAJ were found guilty of violating Article 303 in conjunction with Article 137 of Law No. 22 of 2009 on Road Traffic and Transportation.

Meanwhile, Ngurah Rai Immigration Office Head Winarko explained that upon the completion of the minor criminal proceedings, immigration authorities immediately imposed Administrative Immigration Sanctions. The investigation revealed that all four foreign nationals had entered Indonesia using a Visa on Arrival (VoA), yet were engaged in commercial content production, which is not permitted under a tourist stay permit.

“We have taken firm action. JJT and INL were deported and placed on the deterrence list pursuant to Article 75 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 122 letter a of the Immigration Law. Meanwhile, TEB and LAJ were subjected to layered sanctions for immigration violations as well as legal violations that have been ruled by the court,” Winarko stated.

As a follow-up to the decision, all four foreign nationals were deported via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport on Friday, 12 December 2025, and their names have been officially placed on Indonesia’s immigration deterrence list.

This enforcement action underscores the strong synergy between the Indonesian National Police and Immigration authorities in maintaining public order and upholding the law in Bali. Both institutions reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring that all visitors respect Indonesian laws, local customs, and cultural values, in order to preserve Bali’s reputation as a safe, orderly, and culturally respectful tourism destination.***
