BALI – The Ngurah Rai Class I Special Immigration Office (TPI) recorded a strong performance throughout 2025, successfully carrying out its immigration duties while making a tangible contribution to supporting higher-quality, safe, and sustainable tourism in Bali.
Based on data from the Immigration Management Information System (SIMKIM), the total number of arrivals and departures processed at the Immigration Checkpoint (TPI) of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport reached 15 million travelers in 2025, representing a 14 percent increase compared to the previous year. Of this total, 6.9 million were foreign tourists.
Amid the rising volume of cross-border movements, Ngurah Rai Immigration strengthened border surveillance to safeguard national sovereignty and support orderly tourism that respects local culture and Balinese values. Throughout 2025, 1,326 foreign nationals were denied entry into Indonesia. In addition, departure delays were imposed on 1,221 foreign and Indonesian nationals as a preventive measure to maintain security, provide protection, and ensure compliance with prevailing laws and regulations.
In the area of law enforcement and immigration supervision, Ngurah Rai Immigration recorded two cases of Immigration Crimes, as well as 912 Immigration Administrative Actions, including deportation, detention, blacklisting, and revocation of stay permits.
To further enhance supervision efforts, the Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement Unit (Inteldakim) actively conducted 1,196 immigration patrol activities and 450 immigration monitoring operations throughout the year.
In terms of public services, Ngurah Rai Immigration issued 27,977 Indonesian passports in 2025. As part of preventive measures against Human Trafficking Crimes, the office also rejected 338 passport applications suspected of being intended for non-procedural Indonesian migrant work abroad. Additionally, 53,428 stay permits were issued, comprising visit stay permits, limited stay permits, and permanent stay permits.
These achievements were directly reflected in Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP) contributions. Throughout 2025, Ngurah Rai Immigration generated IDR 1.5 trillion in state revenue, achieving 97.41 percent of the assigned annual target.
Beyond operational achievements, Ngurah Rai Immigration also focused on improving service accessibility and public engagement. In 2025, the office successfully organized Eazy Passport and Eazy Stay Permit (Eazy Intal) services at shopping malls, providing a total of 1,000 service quotas for the public.
