BALI — As oceans change faster than ever before, the question is no longer if we should act, but how fast we can move — and who moves together. Rising climate risks, plastic pollution, and unsustainable development are no longer distant threats; their impacts are already being felt across coastlines, tourism destinations, food systems, and coastal communities worldwide.

Responding to this urgency, Bali Ocean Days 2026 returns with the theme “Navigating Solutions for a Regenerative Ocean Future,” positioning itself as more than a conference — but a platform where ideas turn into action.

Taking place on 30–31 January 2026 at the InterContinental Bali Resort, Jimbaran, Bali Ocean Days convenes business leaders, investors, scientists, innovators, NGOs, policymakers, community leaders, and storytellers from around the world. The two-day gathering is designed to accelerate real-world solutions, scalable innovation, and long-term partnerships for ocean and coastal sustainability.

This year’s edition features 24 curated speakers and 12 Eco-Showcase innovators, presenting proven solutions already in motion — from circular waste systems and community-led marine protection to new collaboration models between business, technology, and sustainable finance.

A key highlight of Bali Ocean Days 2026 is the SEA-MaP Business Matchmaking, supported by the World Bank, aimed at transforming ocean and plastic solutions into investment-ready, bankable projects that can scale impact beyond pilot stages.

The event will also host a special moment with the presentation of the Sky Blue Sea Trophy of Honor to Sir David Attenborough, recognizing his lifetime contribution to ocean storytelling and conservation. The award is linked to his landmark documentary Ocean with David Attenborough and will be received on his behalf by Toby Nowlan of Silverback Films.
