Bali Indah Cultural Park Becomes a Promotional Platform, Governor Koster Praises Poland’s Appreciation of Balinese Culture

Miroslaw Wawrowski: Recruiting 40 Balinese Workers and 15 Dance and Music Artists

DENPASAR – Bali Indah Cultural Park, which was inaugurated by the Governor of Bali, Wayan Koster, at the Dolina Charlotty area in Slupsk, Poland, Eastern Europe, on Monday, June 16, 2025, received appreciation from the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Indonesia in Gdansk, Poland, Miroslaw Wawrowski. The appreciation was conveyed on Wednesday (Buda Kliwon, Pahang), December 24, 2025, at Jayasabha, Denpasar.

Governor Wayan Koster was informed by Miroslaw Wawrowski that Bali Indah Cultural Park in Poland will employ native Balinese people to work at the site.

“The number of workers from Bali that we plan to recruit will reach 40 people. In addition, there will be 15 dance and music artists, as well as dozens of Balinese woodcarvers who will also be involved,” said the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Indonesia in Gdansk.

He further explained that Bali Indah Cultural Park has been equipped with a Balinese restaurant, featuring authentic offerings, including Balinese coffee.

“Since the opening of this area, the park has attracted between 1,000 and 1,500 visitors per day during holidays. Our holidays mainly occur during the summer season. Due to the strong enthusiasm of the Polish people for Balinese arts and culture, at the end of July 2026 we plan to organize a Bali Festival, along with the Melaspas Padmasana ceremony. We sincerely hope that the Governor of Bali will be willing to attend the event,” he said. He added that the presence of this cultural park has inspired many Polish people to visit Bali to experience firsthand the authenticity of the island and its distinctive arts and cultural heritage.

In response to the information, Governor of Bali Wayan Koster expressed his appreciation for Poland’s deep affection for Balinese culture, which has been realized through the establishment of a cultural facility in the country.

Governor Koster expressed hope that the facility would serve as an effective promotional medium for Bali tourism in Poland.

“Regarding the Bali Festival to be held at the end of July 2026, I pray for its success. As for the invitation to attend the Melaspas Padmasana ceremony at Bali Indah Cultural Park in Poland, it is likely that I will assign the Head of the Bali Provincial Culture Office to attend on my behalf,” concluded the Governor of Bali, known as Murdaning Jagat Bali from Sembiran Village, Buleleng.
