BADUNG — The Class I Special Immigration Office (TPI) of Ngurah Rai has launched a new public outreach program called MAYASWARI (Mobile Layanan Informasi Imigrasi / Mobile Immigration Information Service), an innovative initiative designed to deliver immigration information and education directly to the community.

Through Mayaswari, the Ngurah Rai Immigration team visits various public locations such as schools, shopping centers, community hubs, and other busy areas to raise public awareness about immigration duties, functions, and service procedures in an engaging and accessible way.

The program’s inaugural session took place on Wednesday (Oct 29) at SMP Mutiara Bali, Jimbaran. In his opening remarks, Ferry Tri Ardhiansyah, Head of the Information and Communication Technology Division at Ngurah Rai Immigration Office, emphasized the importance of early education about immigration.

“Young people need to understand immigration rules and procedures correctly. Through this initiative, we aim to build awareness from an early age about the importance of compliance with immigration regulations,” said Ferry.

A total of 32 ninth-grade students from SMP Mutiara Bali participated enthusiastically, accompanied by teachers and school administrators. The session covered topics such as passport services, stay permits, and immigration regulations for both Indonesian citizens and foreign nationals. The materials were delivered in a light and interactive manner, tailored for younger audiences.

The event also featured an interactive discussion session, where students eagerly asked questions related to immigration procedures. School representatives expressed their appreciation for the visit, highlighting its educational value.
