Angkasa Pura Indonesia Responds to Bali Floods, Distributes Emergency Aid to Affected Communities

Mangupura  – Angkasa Pura Indonesia at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, part of the Injourney Group, has swiftly extended humanitarian assistance to communities affected by the recent floods in Bali. This social initiative reflects the company’s spirit of solidarity and commitment to supporting both local residents and its employees in times of crisis.

A total of 250 relief packages were distributed to flood-hit areas including Dalung Permai, Jalan Gajah Mada near Badung Market, and Padang Sambian. In addition to community assistance, aid was also provided to airport employees impacted by the floods, demonstrating the company’s dedication to the welfare of its internal workforce.

Purna Irawan, Acting General Manager of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, emphasized the airport’s commitment to being closely connected with local communities, not only through economic contributions but also through social engagement.“We feel compelled to ease the burden of those affected by the floods. We hope this initial assistance can be of real benefit,” he said.

He added that this initiative is part of a long-term commitment.

“We want to ensure that the airport’s presence always brings value to the surrounding community. Our social responsibility efforts will continue sustainably so that the airport is seen not just as a transportation hub, but also as a partner in community life,” Purna added.

Meanwhile, Wahyudi, Regional CEO of Injourney Airports Region II, underlined that this emergency response was carried out through a joint effort involving all Injourney Group entities, including Injourney Airports, Aviation Services, Injourney Hospitality, and Injourney Tourism Development Corporation.

“We extend our deepest sympathy and concern to the people of Bali affected by the floods. Through this emergency aid, we hope to help ease the burden of our brothers and sisters facing such difficult circumstances,” said Wahyudi.

He affirmed that the initiative represents both a quick response and a commitment from Injourney Group to stand side by side with the community during disasters.
