BALI – Menswear label Dwico by Dwi Iskandar is set to showcase its latest collection, “Timeless Rhythm”, at the prestigious IN2MOTIONFEST 2025, scheduled for October 8–12, 2025, at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Jakarta.
As one of the SMEs nurtured by Bank Indonesia’s Bali Representative Office, Dwi Iskandar has often been entrusted by BI Bali to represent the island as a fashion designer in various prestigious events.
The collection embodies the idea that while the rhythm of time never stops, true style remains timeless—born from the harmony of aesthetics, consciousness, and sustainability.
Staying true to sustainable practices, Dwico reuses leftover materials from previous projects, transforming them into new pieces without diminishing their value. Natural fabrics developed in collaboration with Kupu Sutra further emphasize this commitment.
The collection also highlights Balinese woven textiles in various forms, colors, and patterns, enriching the textures and adding distinctive character to each look. Soft color palettes are paired with bright accents, resulting in a modern yet vibrant appearance.
Details include patchwork, sashiko, hand stitching, and embroidery, offering a personal touch while reinforcing the uniqueness of each garment. Loose silhouettes ensure comfort while maintaining a modern and effortless appeal.
The collection features eight menswear looks, reflecting a sustainable, timeless style in tune with life’s rhythm. To enhance the looks, several pieces are paired with bags by Dinz Handmade—an MSME fostered by Bank Indonesia Bali Province Office—and men’s sandals by Kupu Sutera, further strengthening the spirit of collaboration.
Dwico’s signature sarong returns in this collection, reimagined as a universal garment with an international touch. Embracing a genderless concept, the collection is designed for both men and women, encouraging freedom of expression without boundaries.
“For me, it’s not just about buying a good piece of clothing, but about styling it in the right way to create a strong, confident look,” said Dwi Iskandar.
Dwico’s latest works will be presented as part of IN2MOTIONFEST 2025, themed “One Vision, One Movement: Advancing Indonesia’s Modest Fashion.”
Organized by Bank Indonesia and the Indonesian Fashion Chamber, the global platform will feature fashion shows, exhibitions, modest fashion trend forecasting, seminars, wastra business matching, charity clearance sales, and sustainable fashion showcases.
As one of the most important events in the industry, IN2MOTIONFEST 2025 is expected to serve as a global meeting point for celebrating modest fashion as a force shaped by creativity, collaboration, and cultural identity.***
