BALI, THEIMAGE.ID – Anathera Resort Kuta officially rebranded its hotel on Friday, June 6, 2025, unveiling a new concept as a Family Resort.
Engelin Angsar, General Manager of Anathera Resort Kuta, stated that the four-star hotel, previously known as Swiss-Belhotel Tuban, has 320 rooms with nine different types.
“Today (Friday, June 6, 2025), we officially adopt the new name Anathera Resort Kuta. We are located on Jalan Kubu Anyar, Kuta, just 3 kilometers from Ngurah Rai International Airport,” said Engelin after the rebranding event.
Anathera Resort Kuta emerges with a new look and spirit through a rebranding that is more than just a change in logo or appearance. “This is a total transformation to offer a more authentic, comfortable, and memorable stay experience,” she added, accompanied by Amelia from Marketing Communication.
The hotel, which is strategically located near major points of interest such as the toll gate, Kuta Beach, shopping malls, souvenir shops, and other tourist attractions in central Kuta, has been operating for 10 years and has earned a special place in the hearts of both local and international guests.
“Many of our guests are repeat visitors, as seen in the numerous positive reviews we’ve received on various online platforms,” she noted.
Regarding the new “Family Resort” concept, Engelin explained that Anathera Resort Kuta focuses on services and complete facilities that pamper guests. Some of the facilities include a 20 x 10 meter swimming pool, kids’ pool, spa, gym, playground, restaurant and bar, in-house clinic, ballroom, and meeting rooms.
Additionally, the hotel provides free shuttle services to the airport, beach, mall, and souvenir shops. The rebranding also comes with new facilities, such as a coffee shop in the lobby, a sky bar for weddings, a lounge, a money changer, and tour desk. There are also daily activities like yoga, cooking classes, and traditional Balinese experiences.
“To us, a family resort is more than just a place to stay—it’s about a relaxing holiday atmosphere and an authentic, meaningful vacation experience. Guests can feel the beauty of Balinese nature and culture throughout our hotel, from frangipani trees, Balinese statues, and carvings in the public areas, to rindik music playing in the lobby, marigold flower decorations, and traditional Balinese architecture around the premises,” she further explained.
At the same event, Erwitha, Senior Sales Manager, added that as part of Bali’s rich cultural philosophy, Anathera Resort Kuta is built upon Tri Hita Karana—the three causes of harmony and happiness—as the foundation of the hotel’s every step.
Erwitha emphasized that Anathera Resort Kuta prioritizes its relationship with nature and the Creator. Recognizing that the hospitality industry significantly contributes to waste and pollution, the resort is committed to creating positive environmental change by starting with small steps to reduce waste.
“We are prioritizing eco-friendly initiatives as part of our responsibility to protect Bali’s beautiful nature. This is just the beginning, and in the future, we aim to take bigger actions with more impactful results,” she explained.
On the human connection side, the hotel aspires to be more than just a place to stay—it wants to be a meaningful part of guests’ social and cultural interactions.
“Our commitment is to give back to the community and contribute to the preservation of Balinese culture as a form of social dedication to fostering warm connections,” Witha added.
She also mentioned that although the brand has changed, the hotel management and staff remain the same, and the standard operating procedures (SOPs) are still in place—with improvements in several areas to enhance service quality.
“Of course, with this new spirit, improving our service remains our top priority. 80% of our staff are Balinese locals trained in international hospitality standards, which is a great asset for maintaining consistent service quality,” she stated.
Anathera Resort Kuta debuts with a fresh look and renewed energy! This rebranding is not just a visual makeover but a total transformation aimed at delivering a more authentic, comfortable, and memorable stay.
During this rebranding period, the hotel offers special School Holiday and Family Packages for both domestic and international tourists, along with Special Rates for new and existing partners including travel agents, corporate clients, and groups.
“There are also attractive offers for MICE, since we have venues like our high-ceiling ballroom, the Skydeck (rooftop) for weddings and birthdays, and the Pool Island for other social events.”
The Meaning Behind “Anathera”
Amelia, Marketing Communication of Anathera Resort Kuta, explained that the name Anathera is inspired by the word “anther”—the vital part of a flower where pollen is formed, a small but essential element in the process of reproduction and growth.
Just like the anther which marks the beginning of life for a flower, Anathera Resort Kuta is rooted in the philosophy that happiness, harmony, and meaningful experiences can grow from small, authentic moments. We believe that from a simple and pure core, memorable experiences will bloom for every guest.
This meaning aligns with our spirit to rebuild (rebrand) from the roots, embracing local values—especially Tri Hita Karana, the balance between people, nature, and spirituality. From this foundation, Anathera grows, evolves, and blooms into a place where the harmony and beauty of Bali live in every corner.***
