MANDALIKA, THEIMAGE.ID – InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), the master developer and operator of The Mandalika Special Economic Zone (SEZ), has officially signed a partnership with PT Narmada Awet Muda, a leading local mineral water producer from West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). This collaboration names Narmada as the official sponsor and exclusive mineral water provider for two prestigious international racing events set to take place at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit: the Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) 2025 on August 29–30 and the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2025 on October 3–5.
The agreement was signed on Wednesday, June 26, at the headquarters of PT Narmada Awet Muda in Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara.
As part of the partnership, Narmada will supply 40,000 bottles and 1,000 gallons of mineral water to meet the hydration needs of all committees, crews, and support teams throughout both events.
Troy Warokka, Commercial Director of ITDC, expressed his appreciation for PT Narmada Awet Muda’s role as the first local NTB partner to be appointed an official sponsor for an international event at The Mandalika.
“We warmly welcome this collaboration with PT Narmada Awet Muda, which reflects a strong commitment to supporting global events in NTB. As the first local NTB brand to become an official sponsor of the ARRC 2025 and the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2025, this is both an inspirational and strategic move in strengthening local business involvement on the global stage,” said Troy.
Narmada is a homegrown mineral water brand that dominates the NTB market and is the only producer in eastern Indonesia to hold ISO 22000:2018 and HACCP certifications, underscoring its adherence to nationally and internationally recognized quality and safety standards.
Pengky Yupiter, Director of PT Narmada Awet Muda, expressed gratitude for ITDC’s trust and shared his optimism about the positive impact this partnership will have on promoting local products.
“We are proud to take part in these world-class events. This collaboration with ITDC is a pivotal moment that proves local NTB products can compete on the global stage. Narmada is fully committed to supporting the success of both ARRC and MotoGP 2025, and we’ll also be present at the ‘Mandalika Suka-Suka’ side event as part of our regional promotion efforts,” Pengky said.
As the developer of a national tourism destination, ITDC continues to open opportunities for collaboration with local businesses and MSMEs in various international events held at The Mandalika.
“We encourage more local brands and entrepreneurs to participate in global events at Mandalika. Like Narmada, we all have the opportunity to grow together and showcase regional potential to the world,” Troy concluded.
Through this partnership, ITDC aims to boost local product promotion, increase regional private sector engagement, and position The Mandalika as a global stage for Indonesia’s finest talents and products. This cross-sector collaboration embodies the spirit of Indonesia Mendunia—Indonesia for the World.***
