BANDUNG — A delegation of Bali’s royal leaders, accompanied by PT BIBU Panji Sakti CEO Erwanto Sad Adiatmoko, visited PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) in Bandung to reinforce collaboration for the development of the North Bali International Airport. The visit was welcomed by PTDI President Director Air Vice Marshal (Ret.) Gita Amperiawan and senior management, marking a follow-up to an earlier meeting in Bali.

Erwanto emphasized that the initiative represents a convergence of cultural heritage and modern aerospace technology. “From North Bali, we aim to create new opportunities for the entire archipelago,” he said.

PTDI’s president director highlighted the airport’s potential to accelerate economic and aviation sector growth, particularly across central and eastern Indonesia. He noted that PTDI is committed not only to providing aerospace technology and manufacturing capabilities but also to preparing qualified aviation talent.

To support this, PTDI has established cooperation with six universities in Bali to align curricula with aviation industry needs. Beginning in early 2026, students will have access to specialized training programs, including more than 800 hours of required aviation instruction.

Representing Paiketan Puri-Puri Se-Jebag Bali (P3SB), four royal leaders expressed strong support for the project, describing the airport as a milestone for balanced development across Bali. “This airport is not just for Buleleng but for Bali’s future prosperity,” said A.A. Ngurah Ugrasena, Penglingsir Puri Buleleng.

The visit concluded with an exchange of symbolic mementos and a group photo with PTDI’s N219 and CN235 aircraft—standing as icons of Indonesia’s aerospace capability. The delegation affirmed that the North Bali International Airport symbolizes a shared commitment to unite cultural values with technological advancement for a more equitable and progressive Indonesia.***
